Fight fire with fire?

Have you ever thought about that saying? Fight fire with fire?

Think about it. Literally.

Kind of dumb, isn't it? How effective is fire on fire? Not very, if you're looking to extinguish flames. Yet, I've seen amazing examples over the last year of fire on fire. Need examples? How about the Trayvon Martin Case? It's hard to tell now who is guilty of what after the constant fire from both sides of the media/public. On that note, have we ever seen anything as stubborn and morally insulting as this year's political debate? It makes me sick to my stomach to see political commercials these days, and there are more then six months left in the running. I actually turned down my chance at a free bumper sticker just because I didn't want people thinking I am as outrageous as the politicians in our country. If that isn't enough for you, how about the Sugarland tragedy, the GSA scandal, or the secret service scandal?

Honestly, just looking over all those articles again made me want to move into a bomb shelter for 25 years, not unlike Blast from the Past (that terrible 90s movie with Alicia Silverstone.) Hell, why just 25 years? My life will only be a little longer than that, if I'm lucky. At least I'd die in peace.

Here's my message to you, World.

Accidents happen.

People fuck up.

Shut up and focus on your own mistakes. I'm too busy with mine to focus on yours for the remainder of my life.

That been said, I love you all, and I wish you could find it in your heart to love a stranger that has screwed up too. If not, I think we're all in for a rough ride.
